WEEX Futures Lists 1000BTT USDT Perpetual Contract

WEEX is expanding its futures market offerings with the launch of the 1000BTT USDT perpetual contract. This new listing, part of the DePIN sector, provides traders with a new instrument for managing exposure to the BitTorrent ecosystem. Trading is set to begin on November 5, 2025.

What is BitTorrent (1000BTT) Coin?

BitTorrent (BTT) is a prominent decentralized protocol for peer-to-peer (P2P) file sharing, which allows for the efficient distribution of large files over the internet. Originally launched in 2001, the ecosystem was later tokenized with the BTT cryptocurrency, operating on the TRON blockchain. The token is designed to create a more robust decentralized infrastructure, incentivizing network participation through features like BitTorrent Speed, which rewards users for contributing bandwidth.
